54. Day 22 in Shetland: Dawn Departure from Hillswick, Reunion in Lerwick, Puffins, Our Croft in Unst

Well, not quite sunrise, but early! 4:30 AM arising before heading south to Lerwick. Spouse’s ferry due at 7:30 AM.

The lovely beach at Hillswick, low tide.
I loved this place so much.
Moonset over the mainland.
Golden sunlight through the early morning clouds.
Conglomerate stone and so many lovely rocks on this beach.
Natural “concrete”
My rock beach.
A welcome reunion. It had been two months!
And his first puffins! At Sumburgh Head Lighthouse.
And guillemots!
Dese ponies. Sumburgh in the background.
And our home for the next nine days! Remote and beautiful, but still not too far from the little town of Baltasound.
