One of the big things I really, really wanted to explore was Fethaland, the very northern tip of the Shetland Mainland, and location of an old fishing haaf (settlement). More info to come! It was a BIG walk and worth the effort. Today was more resting and reading, and a visit to the gallery to select some gifties for friends and family. Had fabulous conversations with the jewelry artist Esme Wilcock and the wood artist whose name is lost in the folds of my brain somewhere. Sorry, Wood Artist and Fine Fellow! We talked of many things Shetland and USA.
